House Fire in East Fallowfield JANUARY 30 - On Saturday January 30th, 2010 the CCFR dispatched the Pomeroy Fire Company along with Westwood, Modena, Parkesburg and Ladder 43 for a house fire at 37 Lyons Lane in East Fallowfield Township at 1111 hours. Multiple calls into the CCFR were received from near by residents advising heavy fire from the roof area. East Fallowfield police (47PD) arrived on-scene and advised one house fully- involved. ... Car Fire on Lincoln Highway JANUARY 26 - 0005hrs. Units from Atglen along with an Engine and Ambulance from Parkesburg were dispatched to area of West Lincoln Highway and Swan Road for a vehicle fire. Vehicle Accident on Zook Road JANUARY 21 - Station 26 and Rescue & Ambulance 28 were dispatched at 1133 hrs. on Thursday, January 21st for a vehicle accident at 1119 Zook Road. Units arriving found a van into a tree in the front yard, no victims around the scene. The van had been parked in a driveway two houses east of its final resting place. Working House Fire in West Fallowfield DECEMBER 27 - 0152hrs. Units from Atglen, Cochranville, and Parkesburg Ambulance were dispatched to 1518 Glen Run Road in West Fallowfield Township for a house fire with the 911 caller stating a fully engulfed house fire. With Deepest Sympathy to the Legieko Family and the Parkesburg Fire Company DECEMBER 21 - It is with deep regret that the Parkesburg Fire Company announces the passing of Past Deputy Chief and Life Member Fran Legieko. He passed away Friday night surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness at the age of 56. Saturday Training NOVEMBER 14 - On Saturday, November 14th, Atglen hosted a training class in conjunction with PPES, Personal Protection Equipment Specialists. Crews from Atglen, Kennett, Pomeroy, Wagontown, Coatesville and PPES participated with the collapse/confined space simulator from PPES.
