0005hrs. Units from Atglen along with an Engine and Ambulance from Parkesburg were dispatched to area of West Lincoln Highway and Swan Road for a vehicle fire. Engine 26-1 made the response at 0010hrs. and was advised by Chester County Fire Radio of several calls reporting a vehicle with flames from the engine compartment.
Deputy 28 arriving at 0015hrs reporting a vehicle fully involved and updated the location to just west of Newlin Road. Engine 26-1 arrived on scene at 0017hrs. with it's crew deploying the front bumper line to attack the fire. The crews of Engine & Ambulance 28 arrived 1 minute later and assisted with access under the hood of the car and checking out the driver for any injury.
Chief 26 placed the fire under control at 0028hrs.and units cleared the scene at 0057hrs
